Van Inventory – Getting Started

Installation

Van Inventory is available on iOS, Android, and as a web dashboard.

Mobile App

  1. Download Van Inventory from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).
  2. Install and open the app.
  3. Sign in with your WDS account or create one if you do not have one.

Web Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the Van Inventory web dashboard at the URL provided in your account setup email.
  2. Sign in with your WDS account credentials.

First-Time Setup

After signing in:

  1. Add your first vehicle – Go to Vehicles → Add Vehicle and enter the vehicle name or identifier.
  2. Add inventory items – Use Inventory → Add Item to add items to the van. Set starting quantities and low-stock thresholds.
  3. Invite team members (optional) – Go to Settings → Team to add operators who will use the app in the field.

Daily Use

Logging stock changes in the field:

  1. Open Van Inventory on your mobile device.
  2. Navigate to your vehicle.
  3. Use Log Out or Log In to record items taken from or returned to the van.
  4. Scan barcodes or QR codes using your device camera for faster entry.

Changes sync automatically when an internet connection is available. The app works offline and will sync when connectivity is restored.
